The Lot of Spirit (the Daimon) is a calculated point derived from the Sun, Moon, and Ascendant - the solar counterpart to the lunar Part of Fortune, with the formula reversed by sect between day and night charts. Where Fortune describes what circumstance and the body hand you, Spirit describes the will you bring to it: deliberate action, the active mind, and the choices through which you answer your fate. It is the agency-axis of the Hellenistic chart rather than a psychological signature.
